HP ProBook 5310m/CT is the world’s thinnest business laptop with 23.5 ~ 25mm thickness. This stylish machine sports a 13.3-inch LCD display with 1366 x 768, a choice of either a 1.2GHz Intel Celeron SU2300 or 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SP9300 CPU, an Intel GS45 Express chipset (integrated video), a 2GB DDR3 RAM, an optional 160GB SATA HDD or 128GB SSD, a web camera, WiFi + Bluetooth (optional),Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit OS.
HP has launched two new 13-inch thin-and-light laptop based on Intel’s Core 2 Duo and AMD’s Neo platform.
The HP ProBook 5310m targets somewhat more serious consumers, sporting a conservative, serious look with black anodized aluminum with a magnesium frame in a soft touch finish. HP is marketing it as ‘the world’s thinnest full-performance notebook’, as it will be available with a Core 2 Duo SP9300 CPU for $899. You will also be able to get a $699 version powered by a ULV Celeron processor. It’s a nice piece of kit, although pricing could have been better.
