Historic prices, and why they are kept
Every price on an archived deal page is the price that was quoted on the day it was published, in the currency it was quoted in. We have not updated any of them, and we will not: a rewritten price is a fabricated one. What they are good for is calibration — seeing where a model sat against its siblings when both were new tells you a great deal about which of them is worth buying used today.
Before you act on any discount
Check the price against the configuration, not the model name. The most common laptop discount is a genuine cut on a variant with half the memory, a slower panel, or the smaller battery. The guides in this section walk through the specific lines to compare.
