Verizon Wireless is scheduled release the first netbook to use Verizon’s 4G LTE network on August 4, called the Compaq Mini CQ10-688nr. The netbook is built-in 4G LTE that allows download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps.

Samsung has recently introduced the Samsung N350 netbook at IFA 2010, the world’s first netbook to support for both 3G and 4G networks with LTE and HSPA+ support.

Samsung N150 Netbook gets built-in LTE 4G
Samsung will launch the first netbook with built-in 4G using Long Term Evolution (LTE). The Samsung N150 include a 1.66GHz Intel Atom processor, 10.1″ WSVGA (1024 x 600) LED-backlit display with either touchscreen or non-glossy option, up to 250 GB of HDD, a 1 GB of DDR2 RAM, Bluetooth, Wireless LAN.
