Toshiba Portege Z830 Series Ultrabook
Toshiba today unveiled the first ultrabook, called the Portégé Z830 Series. These new ultrabook offer unprecedented portability, durability, a magnesium alloy casing, weighing less than 2.5 pounds and just 0.63-inch (15.9 mm) thick.
The Toshiba Portégé Z830 Series is equipped with a 13.3-inch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, a 2nd generation Core processor, up to 6GB of RAM, and a 128GB solid state drive.
Other features include a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a SD card slot, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, USB 3.0 port, D-Sub and HDMI outputs, and a 47Whr battery that’s claimed to provide up to 8 hours of operation.
The Toshiba Portégé Z830 Series Ultrabook will be available in November 2011 and start at under $1,000.
