Samsung PM830 512GB solid state drives with SATA 3.0

Samsung has announced a new solid state drive that support the Serial ATA Revision 3.0 interface with data transmissions at six gigabits per second (6Gb/s). It is called the PM830 SSDs and offers next level performance of ultra-slim laptops and tablets.

The 2.5-inch Samsung PM830 SSD have read speed of 500MB/s, write speeds of 350MB/s, and supports AES 256-bit encryption for security feature

The Samsung PM830 solid state drives are available in 512GB, 256GB and 128GB of capacities.
