MSI Announces CX640MX 15.6-Inch Laptop

MSI has introduced the CX640MX laptop that features 29 functions and external features. Functions include MSI’s Time Stamp backup and restore technology, an ambient light sensor, SRS PC Sound, a HiFre Antenna, an F1 racer-style “push start” button, a slim, tapered, layered profile, hidden hotkeys and a streamlined ejector button on the DVD player drawer. It has a sporty design with a black (silver) metal brush finish, and a crystal diamond finish touchpad.

The MSI CX640MX is powered by Intel second generation Core i5 and Core i7 processors, a 15.6-inch LED backlight display with HD (1366 x 768) resolution, nVidia GeForce 410M discrete graphics card, DDR3 memory, and up to 640GB hard drive.

Other specifications include a DVD Super Multi, a 1.3MP webcam, a card reader, 802.11 b/g/n WLAN, optional Bluetooth 3.0, one HDMI, four USB 2.0 ports, and optional two USB 3.0 ports, and a 6-cell / 8-cell Li-Ion (4400mAH) battery.

The MSI CX640MX laptop is already available for pre-order in European market and has price of €514.
