HP Updates Mini 210 and Mini 5103 Netbooks with Atom N550, New Colors
Hewlett-Packard has updated the Mini 210 and the Mini 5103 10.1-inch netbook, which is based on latest dual-core Intel Atom processor and new design.
The new Mini 210 ultra-portable netbook comes with a refreshed design. The Mini 210 includes support DDR3 memory, Broadcom Crystal HD card for 1080p video playback. It also is offered with the optional new dual-core Intel Atom processor N550, in addition to the Intel Atom N455 and N475 processors, standard 6-cell battery that provides up to 10.75 hours of battery life.
The Mini 210 is available in a choice of five HP Imprint finishes: charcoal, crimson red, lavender frost, luminous rose and ocean drive.
The business-orientated Mini 5103 will be getting a dual-core 1.5GHz processor option, all of which support DDR3 memory. It also includes a Broadcom HD video decoder card, optional six-cell battery that provides up to 10 hours and 15 minutes of battery runtime, a new “espresso” color and a new instant OS called “Day Starter”. HP says the new dual core processor can improve benchmark performance by up to 20 percent without a significant impact on battery life.
The HP Mini 210 and Mini 510 is currently available in the United States with a starting price of $329 and $399, respectively.
