Dell Inspiron 14R, 15R, and 17R Laptops with Switchable Lids, Sandy Bridge

Dell has announced the Inspiron R Series laptops with 2nd Generation Intel Core processors and a new interchangeable lid option, the 14-inch Inspiron 14R, the 15.6-inch 15R and the 17.3-inch 17R. The new SWITCH by Design Studio interchangeable lids that includes 25 new eye-popping lids sporting vibrant colors and unique designs.

The Dell Inspiron 14R, 15R, and 17R laptop has features an Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor, discrete graphics (an AMD Radeon HD 6000M series card for the 14R, a GeForce 500M card for the 15R and 17R), up to 8GB of memory, DVD burner or optional Blu-ray drive, optional USB 3.0, HD display, SRS Premium Audio, Intel Wireless Display technology, HD capable webcam, a 6- or 9-cell battery, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

The new Dell Inspiron 14R, 15R and 17R models are available today in the U.S. and start at $579.99, $529.99 and $579.99, respectively.
