Acer has just released a new laptop aimed at professional users, called the TravelMate 8481. This laptop feature a magnesium-aluminum frame with an anti-shock mechanism for the HDD, plus dust protection and metal hinges.
The Acer TravelMate 8481 laptop is boasted by a 2nd generation Intel Core-series processor, up to 8GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive or 64GB SSD, NVIDIA graphics card with the Optimus technology, and a 14-inch display with a native resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels (HD). There are USB 3.0 connector, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Gigabit Ethernet.
The Acer TravelMate 8481 and the L512 will be available in August, 2011 for prices starting at £699.
