Panasonic has announced upgrades to the Toughbook CF-C1mk2 rugged convertible tablet PC. The new version is boasts an increased Intel Core i5-2520M vPro processor (2.50GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz), 2GB of DDR3 RAM (expandable to 8GB), a 320GB base hard drive, and up to 12 hours of battery life.
The Toughbook CF-C1mk2 comes equipped with a 12.1-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel, Intel HD 3000 graphics, a 1.3MP webcam, a spill-resistant keyboard, Gigabit Ethernet, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, and one or two battery packs. Its wireless connectivity including 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth v2.1 and optional Qualcomm’s Gobi 2000 3G mobile broadband technology.
The Panasonic Toughbook CF-C1mk2 will be available in July 2011 and starting price of €1,899.
