The Getac S400 is one of the most rugged, semi-rugged laptop computers built. The Getac S400 is able to meet or exceed MIL-STD 810G criteria for temperature, shock and vibration as well as a 2.5 ft. drop on 6 faces.
The Getac S400 features a, 14 inch wide-screen display that can be configured with features essential for field use including a 700 NITS display with glove-friendly multi-touch technology, an Intel Core i5-520M 2.4GHz or Core i3-350M 2.26GHz processor, up to 8GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive or 80GB solid state drive, and Intel HD graphics or nNVIDIA GeForce G310M discrete card.
Other features include a DVD writer, Gigabit Ethernet, a 4-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, three USB 2.0 ports, optional 3G and GPS, a 7800 mAh battery, and Genuine Windows 7 Professional OS.
