Toshiba announced a new thin and light laptop namely the Toshiba Satellite T210. Powered by either an Intel Core i3-330UM (1.2GHz) or Celeron U3400 (1.06GHz) processor, the Toshiba Satellite T210 sports a 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 display, 2GB of RAM, 320GB hard disk, HDMI, webcam, audio jacks, Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, WiMAX, weighs 3.26lbs, 6-cell battery (6.4 hours battery life), and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit.

The high end Core i3 model will sell for around 110,000 yen ($1,197) and the low end Celeron model for around 90,000 yen ($979). It was scheduled to be released in the UK in July.

Toshiba has launched two new laptops on Monday, called Toshiba Satellite T210 and Toshiba Satellite T230.

Toshiba Satellite T210 with an 11.6-inch TruBrite HD display with LED backlighting, a 1.2GHz Intel Pentium U5400 ULV processor, up to 3GB of DDR3 memory, up to 250GB of hard drive, weighs starting at only 1.48 kg.

The Toshiba Satellite T230 is powered by Intel Core ULV i3 330UM processor, an 13.3-inch TruBrite HD display with LED backlighting, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB of hard disk space, weighs starting at only 1.75 kg.

Both models feature two USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA/USB combo port, HDMI output, a card reader, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1, nd up to 8.5 hours of battery life. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

The Satellite T230 and T210 models will be available across the UK from July 2010, no word however on how much they will cost.
