The Toshiba Qosmio T780, a new powerful notebook for entertainment, has started selling in Japan.

The Toshiba Qosmio T780 features a 1.73GHz Intel Core i7 740QM quad-core processor (up to 2.93 GHz with a turbo-boost mode), a 18.4-inch display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, GeForce GT 330M graphics card with 1GB dedicated memory, 4GB of RAM (expandable to 8GB), and 640GB hard drive.

There’s also an integrated Blu-ray drive, multi-format card reader, webcam, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, HDMI and D-Sub outputs, two TV tuners, a remote control, and Windows 7 Home Premium preinstalled.

Size of Toshiba Qosmio T780 is 443 x 294 x 42 mm and weight 5kg. The Toshiba Qosmio T780 starts at around $2,440 in Japan.
