Panasonic has announced the new Toughbook rugged tablet PC, called the Toughbook H2. The Toughbook H2 features a magnesium alloy chassis encased with polycarbonate, and drop tested at 6-inch.

The Panasonic Toughbook H2 is boasts a 1.70GHz Intel Core i5-2557M processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and a 320GB 7,200rpm hard drive or 128GB solid state drive.

The Toughbook H2 is packs a 10.1-inch 1024×768 sunlight-viewable display supporting both touchscreen and digitizer input, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1, Gigabit LAN, memory card reader, fingerprint, a 2.0MP camera, smartcard reader, and optional 3G module and LTE 4G.

New Panasonic Toughbook H2 is already available for starting price tag $3,449.

Panasonic has announced upgrades to the Toughbook CF-C1mk2 rugged convertible tablet PC. The new version is boasts an increased Intel Core i5-2520M vPro processor (2.50GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz), 2GB of DDR3 RAM (expandable to 8GB), a 320GB base hard drive, and up to 12 hours of battery life.

The Toughbook CF-C1mk2 comes equipped with a 12.1-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel, Intel HD 3000 graphics, a 1.3MP webcam, a spill-resistant keyboard, Gigabit Ethernet, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, and one or two battery packs. Its wireless connectivity including 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth v2.1 and optional Qualcomm’s Gobi 2000 3G mobile broadband technology.

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-C1mk2 will be available in July 2011 and starting price of €1,899.

Fujitsu LifeBook T901 convertible tablet is based on a 2.5GHz Core i5-2520M, a 2.60GHz Core i5-2540M and a 2.70GHz Core i7-2620M processor, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 500GB hard drive or up to 256GB solid state drive, and integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics or a NVIDIA NVS 4200M with 1GB of VRAM dedicated graphics.

The Fujitsu LifeBook T901 tablet PC packs a 13.3-inch WXGA LED-backlit touchscreen display, spill-resistant keyboard, a Blu-Ray or DVD writer, a webcam, a fingerprint sensor, a Smart Card slot, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, USB 3.0, HDMI, and a 6-cell 5800/6200 mAh battery. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Professional 32bit.

The Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101-A1 is based on the Nvidia Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core processor, 10.1-inch WSVGA (1280×800) IPS Capacitive LED Touchscreen, 16GB of storage capacity, and a 1GB DDR2 memory. It runs an Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system.

Other specifications include a front 1.2-megapixel and rear 5MP web camera, stereo speakers, wireless-n and Bluetooth connections, GPS, gravity sensor, e-compass and gyroscope, an SD card reader.

The Transformer Keyboard Docking Station features a full QWERTY keyboard, a touchpad, 3.5mm audio jack, two USB ports, a built-in SD Card reader, and extends battery life up to 16 hours.

Dell has released the new Latitude XT3 convertible tablet PC, featuring the 2nd Generation Intel Sandy Bridge processors.

The Dell Latitude XT3 is powered a 2.5GHz Intel Core i5-2520 (up to 3.2 GHz in Turbo mode) dual-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The display size of the machine is 13-inch with a swiveling-type and support for dual-digitizer display, which allows multi-touch inputs (three fingers at same time) and stylus input.

Gigabyte Technology has released the T1125 convertible tablet, which based on an Intel platform.

The Gigabyte T1125 has a rotative 11.6-inch touchscreen and a native resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It is powered by a Core ULV (ultra-low voltage) processor, up to 8GB of RAM, a 320GB or 500GB HDD, and GeForce 310M graphics.

Fujitsu introduced its new tablet PC LifeBook T Series in Russia, including the LifeBook T730 and LifeBook TH700 are equipped with GPS (optional), and such mobile communication units, as 3G/UMTS, WLAN and Bluetooth.

The Fujitsu LifeBook T730 features up to Intel Core i7 processor, whereas the Fujitsu LifeBook TH700 with up to Intel Core i5 processor.

Both Tablet PC come with a 12.1-inch display with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and supports multi-touch, up to 500GB hard drive or up to 128GB SSD, and up to 4GB DDR3 RAM, a DVD burner or Blu-ray, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, as well as optional 3G modem (UMTS/HSDPA), built-in GPS.

Fujitsu LifeBook T Series models weigh about 1.8 kg. No words yet on release date and pricing.
