Sony has announced a new updated version of VAIO YB Series laptop, the Sony Vaio YB VPCYB35KX/B. This updated version is powered by a 1.65GHz AMD E-450 dual-core processor, 4GB DDR3-1333 memory, 500GB hard drive (5400rpm), and a Radeon HD 6310 graphics.

The Sony Vaio YB VPCYB35KX/B laptop has an 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Gigabit LAN, three USB ports, D-Sub and HDMI output, and up to 5.5 hours of battery life. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit OS.

The Sony Vaio YB VPCYB35KX/B is selling for price of $479.99.

Sony has unveiled a new Vaio YB-Series laptop based AMD Brazos platform. The new laptop was showcased at CES 2011 and powered by a 1.6 GHz AMD E-350 processor with Radeon HD 6310 graphics, an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, up to 4GB of storage and a 500GB hard drive.

The 3.2 pounds  Sony Vaio YB-Series also include 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, VGA and HDMI output, three USB ports, and up to 6 hours of standard battery life.

The Sony YB-Series should be available next month and a starting price for about $550.
