Acer has release a new 11.6-inch netbook with Intel Sandy Bridge platform, call the TravelMate B113. The new Acer TravelMate B113 netbook is powered by your choice of a 1.4GHz Celeron B877, a 1.3GHz Pentium B967 or 1.5GHz Core i3-2377M processors.

The TravelMate B113 series feature a 4 GB of DDR3 RAM memory, a 500 GB hard disk drive, Wireless N and USB 3.0 connectivity, along with HDMI and a 4400mAh battery. This netbook is also lack optical disc drive, DVD-Writer.

Apple has updated the new 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Air. They are offering the next generation processors, high-speed Thunderbolt I/O technology, a backlit keyboard and Mac OS X Lion operating system.

Kobalt Computers has introduced new Sandy Bridge gaming laptops at CES 2011, the 15.4-inch G150 and 17.3-inch G170.

All two models feature the Intel Core i7-2630QM quad-core 2GHz (2.9Ghz TurboBoost) processor, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M 1.5GB GPU or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 485M 2.0GB video card, up to 16GB of DDR3 1333MHz Corsair Memory, and Western Digital hard drives or OCZ SSD.

Wortmann AG has released the new Terra Mobile series business laptops, the Terra Mobile 1562 and the Terra Mobile 1586. The two laptops are based on Intel’s Huron River mobile platform and 2nd Generation Intel Core “Sandy Bridge” processor.

The Terra Mobile 1562 and 1586 features a 15.6-inch display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a DVD writer, a multi-card reader, WiFi, and pre-loaded with Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Toshiba has announced two new Satellite laptops based on second generation Intel “Sandy Bridge” processors and USB 3.0 ports, namely he Toshiba Satellite M640 and Satellite E305.

The Toshiba Satellite M640 multimedia laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor, 14-inch LED-backlit display, NVIDIA GeForce GT 500 Series graphics with Optimus technology, USB 3.0 ports, Intel Wireless Display and Blu-ray Disc drive.

Dell has announced new XPS 17 and Alienware M17 laptops with the 2nd Generation Intel Core “Sandy Bridge” processors.

The Dell XPS 17 features an Intel Core i3/i5/i7 CPU (the i7 builds will include WiDi support), a WLED display – up to 1080p (3D panel is optional), a chiclet keyboard, an Nvidia GeForce 500M series graphics card, JBL speakers, and a Skype HD-ready webcam.

The Dell Alienware M17x rev 3 comes with an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, a WLED-backlit 120Hz display has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, Wireless HD, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 460M 1.5GB or AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1/2GB graphics card.

The Dell XPS 17 is expected to debut on February 1st and starts at $1,449, while  the M17x rev 3 which is set to become available on January 10 and starting price of $1,499.

HP offer are the three laptops that built on the new second-gen Intel Core 2011 processor (Intel Sandy Bridge). They are called the Envy 17 and the Pavilion dv6 and dv7. They are also come with Intel’s new 32nm processors and AMD Radeon HD 6800 series graphics.

The HP Envy 17 is getting HP CoolSense cooling and switchable AMD Radeon 6850M graphics with support for Intel Wireless Display.

The HP Pavilion dv6 and dv7 will become available on 9 January 2011 starting at $900 and $1,000, respectively, while the ENVY 17 will be available at a later date (no word on pricing).
