Samsung has released two Series 3 laptops in the US, called the 12.1-inch NP350U2B-A01US, and the 14-inch NP300V4A-A01US.

The Samsung NP350U2B-A01US Series 3 laptop is powered by a 2.30GHz Intel Core i5-2410M 2.30GHz processor and 500GB hard drive, while the Samsung NP300V4A-A01US Series 3 is boasted by a 2.10GHz Intel Core i3-2310M processor and 640GB hard drive.

All of Series 3 models are packs a 4GB of DDR3 memory, a DVD burner, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, Ethernet LAN, a 4-in-1 card reader, VGA and HDMI output, a 6-Cell 4400mAh Lithium Ion battery, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.

Price of the 12.1-inch NP350U2B-A01US is $750 and the 14-inch NP300V4A-A01US at $637.

Samsung has introduced the upcoming Series 3 laptops for this year’s back to school season. The Samsung Series 3 line will coming with displays ranging from 11.6 inches to 15.6 inches.

The new Samsung Series 3 12.1-inch models is boasts a second generation Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor, a matte display with resolution of  1366×768 pixels, HD 3000 integrated graphics, 2GB of RAM, HDMI output, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 port, an SD card slot, a full sized island-style keyboard, and Windows 7 operating system. It has starting price of $729.

The Series 3 larger models will have swappable batteries and optical disc drives, but also much thicker chassis.
