MSI Europe has unveiled the MSI FX610-P3443W7P and MSI FX610-P8447W7P 15.6-inch laptops which is based on an AMD platform.

The MSI FX610-P8447W7P features a 2.2 GHz Athlon II P340 dual-core processor and 500GB of HDD space while the MSI FX610-P3443W7P features a 1.9 GHz Athlon II P840 triple-core CPU and 320GB of HDD space.

Both laptops also have a 15.6-inch 1366×768 LED backlit screen, 4GB of memory, ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5470 with 1GB of DDR3 memory, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a HD webcam, a 4-in-1 card reader, two ‘theater class’ speakers, DMI, VGA, 3x USB 2.0, eSATA, Gigabit Ethernet and 6-cell battery.

The price of MSI FX610-P3443W7P is €599, while the MSI FX610-P8447W7P has a base price of €699.

Acer has announced the 14-inch Aspire 4738 and 15.6-inch Aspire 5742 laptops in European market.

The Aspire 4738 and Aspire 5742 laptops are powered by the new Intel Core i5 and i3 processors, an Intel HD or an nVidia GeForce GT 420M or an ATI Radeon HD 5470 graphics, up to 8GB DDR3 memory, a 750GB hard drive

Both laptops have a CineCrystal panels with 16:9 aspect ratio and HD resolutions, a DVD burner, an HDMI port, a multi-gesture touchpad, a 2-in-1 card reader, a 802.11n WiFi, Gigabit LAN, Bluetooth, a 1.3MP resolution and a built-in microphone.
