GammaTech has unveiled a new rugged laptop, the GammaTech S15C2. This S15C2 rugged laptop has a magnesium alloy case that offering survival after 26 drops from 76 cm heigh, and anti-shock mounting design protects LCD screen and hard disk drive from damage and data loss.

The GammaTech S15C2 rugged laptop has features a 15.6-inch FHD LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel, an Intel i7 or i5 processor, an Intel QM57 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, nVidia Optimus and Intel integrated graphic.

Other features include a spill resistant keyboard, a 1.3MP webcam, a smart card reader slot, three USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, an optional WWAN 3G module, and a Kensington Lock connector.

Gigabyte is showing off a new P2532 15.6-inch laptop at Computex 2011, that comes with two versions, the P2532N and P2532V. The P2532N model comes with NVIDIA Optimus for extra battery life, while the P2532V support NVIDIA 3D Vision but on a 1,366 x 768 LCD display.

The Gigabyte P2532 is powered by an Intel Core i7-2630QM (2GHz to 2.9GHz), NVIDIA GeForce GT550M with 2GB of VRAM, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 500/750GB hard drive at 7200rpm.

Lenovo today announced three additional ThinkPad T models with NVIDIA Optimus technology. These models include the ThinkPad T410, T410s and T510. ThinkPad laptops with Optimus achieve up to 33 percent longer battery life over discrete only or switchable models. That adds up to one extra hour of battery life per charge.

The three models are available with an NVIDIA NVS 3100M graphics card option, an Intel Core i5 CPU options and a selection of hard drives / SSD options.

Pricing begins at approximately $1,299 for the T410 and T510 and $1,849 for the T410s.

Toshiba has announced its feature-packed entertainment laptops, the Satellite A665 with a 16-inch diagonal display and the Satellite M645 with a 14-inch diagonal display.

It is powered by 1.6 GHz Atom N450 processor, an 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel, 1GB of memory, 250GB hard drive and hybrid graphics (ION 2 with Optimus). This netbook is equipped with three USB ports, VGA port, HDMI port, a 6 Cell battery, and pre-loaded with Windows 7 OS.

Asus Eee PC 1015N will be available in the next weeks for around $400-$430.
