Acer Aspire 5745P 15.6-Inch Multitouch Laptop Available in Europe

The Acer Aspire 5745P multitouch laptop is now available in Europe and has a price tag of €999.

The Genbook108 features a 32nm Intel Core i5-450M processor 2.4GHz with Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.66GHz, a 15.6-inch HD display with Integrated Multi-Touch Screen Supporting Finger Touch, a 1GB GeForce GT 330M graphics card, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 500GB hard drive.

Other specifications include a Blu-ray drive, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, DVD burner, a 5-in-1 card reader, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, and a 6-cell battery. There are four USB ports, and HDMI. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Lenovo IdeaPad U1 runs on windows 7 system that has an Intel CULV Core 2 Duo processor in the main body and, in the detachable tablet-style display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor running a Linux environment. There are other features which includes an 11.6 inch HD LED screen with multitouch support, 4GB of RAM, GMA graphics, and optional 128GB SSD, 3G connectivity, two USB 2.0 ports, eSATA, VGA, HDMI, 4-in-1 memory card reader, and a 1.3-Megapixel camera. The tablet portion is boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, a 16GB SSD. This laptop is not available to purchase yet.
