<p>Rugged Notebooks has announced the new <strong>RNB Eagle</strong> fully-rugged and semi-rugged notebook. The RNB Eagle notebook was designed with military users in mind, featuring port covers, sunlight readable display, and tested to MIL-STD-810F, all with the computing performance of a semi-rugged notebook.<br />

The RNB Eagle is powered by a 2.0GHz Intel Pentium or up to 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 14.1-inch display with resolution of WXGA (1280 x 800 or 1440 x 900 pixels), up to 8GB of RAM, up to 500GB HDD or up to 256GB SSD.</p>
<p>It also has DVD drive, card reader, modem, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth optional, 3G optional, WiMAX optional, four USB 2.0 ports, LAN, VGA and HDMI outputs, 6 cell 4400mAh or 9 cell 6600mAh battery, and Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 OS.</p>

<p>Panasonic today launched its new <strong>Toughbook CF-31</strong>, which has become the fully rugged device of choice for utilities, emergency services and military personnel. Designed to access applications and data in the most extreme mobile computing environments.</p>
<p>Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 is powered by an Intel Core i3/i5 dual core CPU with clock speeds ranging from 2.26GB to 2.53GHz. The Toughbook CF-31 features a 13.1-inch  LED-backlit touchscreen display with 1024×768 pixels resolution, up to 8GB of RAM and 160GB/250GB hard drive, an integrated or discrete (ATI Radeon HD 5650) graphics.<br />

It is equipped with four USB ports, a HDMI port, LAN, optional webcam, 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and optional 3G/WiMAX module, fingerprint reader, and GPS. <p>Lenovo announced today a new ThinkPad L Series, called <strong>ThinkPad L412</strong> and <strong>ThinkPad L512</strong>. Designed for business, government and education customers, the ThinkPad 14-inch L412 and 15-inch L512 laptops feature high performance with the latest Intel processing technologies, military tough durability and strong web conferencing. Additionally, the laptops are the greenest on the market by integrating the highest amounts of post consumer recycled content.</p>
<p>Lenovo ThinkPad 14-inch L412 and 15-inch L512 laptops powered by 1.86GHz Celeron and Intel graphics to a 2.53GHz Core i5, up to 8GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a LED backlight display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3G/4G or WiMAX module with Gobi 2000 module support for AT&amp;T, Sprint and Verizon.<br />

<p>There are other features which includes a 7-in-1 card reader, four USB ports, choices of Intel integrated or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5145 graphics, and up to 8 hours of battery life, Windows 7 OS. The base model that houses a six-cell battery weighs just 5.1 pounds, while the larger one weighs 5.7 pounds.</p>
<p>The ThinkPad L412 and the L512 will be available in mid-May for prices starting at $649.</p>
