Gateway has released the ID Series and NV Series laptops in the United States and Canada, the 14-inch ID47 series and the 15.6-inch NV55 and NV57. Both updated lines feature incredibly stylish designs in the most in-demand sizes, powered by the latest in mobile technology.

The Gateway ID47 Series laptops is powered by second generation Intel Core processor, Intel HD Graphics 3000, or NVIDIA GeForce Optimus GT 540M graphics, up to 8GB DDR3 memory, 500GB or 750GB hard drive, DVD burner, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, 1.3MP webcam, Dolby Home Theater v4 Audio, USB 3.0, HDMI and 8 hours battery life.

The Gateway NV55 Series boasts the AMD A8-3500 APU and Radeon HD 6620G graphics, while the Gateway NV57 Series is based on based on the Intel Core i3-2310M or Core i5-2410M dual-core CPU and Intel HD 3000 or NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M Graphics graphics. The Gateway NV55 and NV57 features a DVD burner, 1.3MP webcam, card reader, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, USB 3.0 port, HDMI, and four hours battery life.

Gateway has released the new NV Series laptops with the latest AMD processors, including the NV51B08u, the NV51B02u, and the NV51B05u.

The Gateway NV51B08u is powered by a 1GHz AMD C-50 APU, while the Gateway NV51B02u and NV51B05u which are equipped with a 1.6 GHz AMD E-350 APU and ATI Radeon HD 6310 graphics.

All models featuring a 15.6-inch HD Widescreen Ultrabright LED-backlit display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, up to 3GB of RAM, up to 500GB of storage space, a DVD writer, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, D-Sub and HDMI outputs, and running Windows 7 Home Premium.

Their cost is $400 for Gateway NV51B08u, $450 for Gateway NV51B02u, and $470 for Gateway NV51B05u.
