I-O Data has introduced the new HDPV-UT series portable hard drive. This HDPV-UT Series is used USB 3.0 connectivity and has 1TB of capacities.

The new HDPV-UT 1TB Series features a scratch-resistant top coating, built-in USB cable and a glossy case with soft rubber bottom and scratch-resistant top coating. It measures 85 (W) x 130 (D) x 14 (H) mm and weight 180 grams.

The I-O Data HDPV-UT 1TB Series external HDD will be available in Snow White, Piano Black and Platinum Gold, and price at about $205.

A-Data has launched the new rugged USB 3.0 portable drive, called the A-Data SH14. The new SH14 offers a new approach to shock-resistant designs, military grade shockproof and water resistant construction.

The A-Data SH14 external hard drive has featured a Superspeed USB 3.0 interface, a 2.5-inch 5400rpm HDD built-in, transfer speeds of up to 90 MB/s, and a three-year warranty.  It is available in two color options including passion red and serene black.

Toshiba has official announced a new 2.5-inch external hard drive, the STOR.E Edition. The drive is transfers your large media files at SuperSpeed (5.0 Gbps) with USB 3.0 interface.

The drive is packs a 2.5-inch 500GB/750GB/1TB hard drive, and pre-loaded with Nero BackItUp & Burn Essentials. Toshiba STOR.E Edition has a grooved texture and comes in three colors: red, blue, silver and black.

Dimensions of Toshiba STOR.E 500GB and 750GB models is 117 x 79 x 14 mm and weights 154 grams, while the Toshiba STOR.E 1TB model has measures 117 x 79 x 17 mm weights 192 grams.

I-O Data has released a new 2.5-inch portable hard drive which features a dual port, namely the HDPA-UT. It has both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 connectors and mini USB 2.0 port.
