Eurocom has added new six-core Intel Xeon X5690 processors for the Panther 2.0 and the D900F Panther mobile workstations. The Intel Xeon X5690 is actually a desktop processors destined to be used in servers and high-performance workstations, which packs six cores clocked at 3.46 GHz and 12MB of L3 cache.

The Eurocom Panther 2.0 and D900F Panther systems that are available with the Intel Xeon X5690 also coming with up to 24GB or DDR3 triple-channel memory, four hard/solid state/hybrid drives for up to 3.25TB of storage, Quadro FX 3800M, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480M, ATi Radeon Mobility HD5870 in single or dual VGA operation (SLI or CrossfireX), and DVD Burner or Blu Ray Burner.

Eurocom has offering their customers in its Mobile Workstations with up to 24GB of DRR3 RAM. Their laptop lineup is 17.3-inch Eurocom X7200 Panther 2.0 and 17.1-inch Eurocom D900F Panther.

There is wide range of specs including Intel i7-980X Extreme or Xeon 5500/5600 with up to six cores, Quadro FX 3800M, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480M, ATi Radeon Mobility HD5870 in single or dual VGA operation (SLI or CrossfireX), up to 4 physical drives (mechanical, Hybrid Solid or SSD), over 3.25TB 7200rpm of storage, and DVD Burner or Blu Ray Burner.

Eurocom has announced recently upgrades to its mobile workstations with up to 3TB of storage space. The three laptops are known as D900F Panther, X8100 Leopard and X7200 Panther 2.0. EUROCOM X7200 Panther 2.0 is the first laptop to feature nVidia SLi or ATi Crossfire

The Eurocom laptops are support for up to four 750GB Seagate Momentus drives that provides 3Gb/s interface and can even be configured in RAID 0/1/5/10 capabilities.

It also specifications include Intel Core i7 or Core i7 Extreme processors, up to 24GB of DDR3 RAM, up to NVIDIA GeForce 480M/Quadro FX or ATi Radeon Mobility HD5870 graphics, large LED-backlit screens, a blu-ray burner, Dolby Home Theater 5.1 audio, USB 3.0, eSATA, HDMI, DVI, DVD or Blu-ray, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi and optional Bluetooth.

Eurocom has started listing a GeForce GTX 480M part. The card is going for $345 more than the default card in those workstation laptops (the ATI Radeon HD 5870). It’s packing the full 2GB of GDDR5 VRAM. It uses the MXM 3.0b memory interface, providing a full 256-bit pipe between the motherboard and graphics card. Eurocom is offering the GTX 480M on its 17.3-inch Eurocom W870CU Cheetah and 17.1-inch Eurocom D900F Panther and 18.4-inch Eurocom X8100 Leopard.
