Asus Eee PC 1201K 12-Inch Netbook with AMD Geode chip

The new Asus Eee PC 1201K netbook has a Chiclet keyboard and built the Geode chips. The Asus Eee PC 1201K powered by a 1.4GHz AMD Geode NX 1750 processor, SIS741CX/964 chipset, 1GB of DDR1 RAM, a 160GB, 250GB or 320GB hard drive, a 12.1-inch LED-backlit (1366 x 768) display. There are other features which includes 0.3 megapixel webcam, a multi-card reader, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, VGA Output, two USB 2.0 port, RJ-45 LAN, audio jacks, and a 6-cell battery.

The Eee PC 1201K runs Windows XP Home. No word on pricing and release date.

Asus Eee PC 1201X and 1201K 12-Inch Netbook

Asus will release its new 12-inch netbooks product in the near future namely the Eee PC 1201K and 1201X. The Eee PC 1201X appears to have the same case design as the Eee PC 1201T. It’s not entirely clear if this means it will also have an AMD chipset, but it does tell us that there’s no HDMI port on this model.

The Eee PC 1201K will have no USB ports on the right side, There are also no access panels on the bottom of the computer, which could make upgrading RAM and could probably have a VIA nano CPU.

There’s no info on availability date and pricing.
