Asus Eee PC (Sirocco) 1015PW Netbook Makes Waves in Style

Asus has unveiled its new Eee PC Sirocco netbook, also known as the Eee PC 1015PW. The Eee PC 1015PW netbook is design with the gently flowing streamlined pattern. These elegantly styled aesthetics are also complemented by the careful choice of colors, including intense and powerful Purple Rain, glamorous Gold Dust and delicately warm Angel Skin.

It comes equipped with a 10.1-inch screen with 1024×768 resolution, a dual core Atom N550 processor, 1GB of DDR3 memory (upgradeable to 2GB), a 250 or 320GB hard drive.

Other features include 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 0.3 Megapixel webcam, a D-sub connector, three USB 2.0 ports, a 10/100Mbit Ethernet jack, a pair of audio jacks and an SD card reader, a 6-cell battery and Windows 7 Starter Edition OS.

Asus has revealed details of the Eee PC 1015PW netbook, featuring wave design fits as a natural extension of the current Seashell curved casing. The Asus Eee PC 1015PW is comes in purple rain, gold dust or angel skin.

The ASUS Eee PC 1015PW netbook is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 CPU, a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel, 250GB or 320GB hard drive.

Other hardware includes a webcam with camera cover, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, chiclet keyboard, card reader, 10 hours of battery life, and The ASUS’ ExpressGate fast booting OS. No word on pricing or availability.
