ASUS has announced the new ASUS Eee PC 1001PX netbook in the Japanese market on June 23rd 2010, the ASUS Eee PC 1001PX comes equipped with an Intel Atom N450 (1.66GHz) processor, an Intel NM10 Express chipset, 10.1″ WSVGA (1024×600) LED Backlight display, 1GB of DDR2 memory, 160GB hard drive, a 0.3MP webcam, a multi-card reader, two USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, and run on Windows XP Home Edition. The ASUS Eee PC 1001PX netbook for 36,800 Yen (about $405).
ASUS Eee PC 1001PX-EU0X-BK Seashell netbook is powered by a Intel Atom N450 (1.66GHz) processor, 10.1″ WSVGA (1024×600) LED Backlight display, an Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, 1GB of DDR2 memory, 160GB hard drive, a 0.3MP webcam, a multi-card reader, Wi-Fi, 10/100 Ethernet, 3-Cell battery (22W/h) with enabling up to 4.5 Hours of Battery Life, Microsoft Windows XP Home preloaded.
The Asus Eee PC 1001PX netbook is comes in two models, Asus Eee PC 1001PX-WHI006S with Windows 7 OS, a 250GB hard drive and a 6-cell battery (up to 9hrs runtime), and Asus Eee PC 1001PX-BLK003X with Windows XP OS, a 160GB hard drive and a 3-cell battery (up to 5hrs runtime). Both Eee PC 1001PX has feature 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024×600 pixel, a 1.66GHz Intel N450 processor, and 1GB of DDR2 memory.
