gScreen has started selling its laptop with two 17-inch LCD displays, the SpaceBook 17. This laptop features two slide out 17.3 inches LED-backlit displays with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) pixels.

The gScreen SpaceBook 17 laptop is powered by a 2.66GHz Intel Core i5-560M or a 1.73GHz quad-core Core i7-740QM processor, a a 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M graphics, 4/8GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 500GB (7200RPM) hard drive.

The SpaceBook 17 laptop is equipped with a DVD burner, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 6-in-1 card reader, RJ45 LAN, eSATA, HDMI, three USB 3.0 ports, and a 6-cell lithium ion battery. It’s pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional OS.

Acer will be selling the Iconia hybrid dual-screen laptop/tablet in Spain, The laptop will become available on January 28 (2011), and starting price tag of €1,499.

The Toshiba Libretto W100 dual display laptop will be available for purchase in August 11 for abut $1100 US.

The Libretto W100 with its two 7-inch multi-touch displays at 1,024 x 600 pixels, an Intel Pentium U5400 1.2GHz processor, 2GB RAM, a 62GB SSD, a webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a single USB port, a microSDHC card slot, a 8-cell battery, and Windows 7 OS.

The lower screen can also display a virtual keyboard, enabling the device to function in the same way as a laptop. The user can easily drag and drop content, files or icons from one screen to another with a simple sweep of the finger.
