Targus has recently released the first docking station with USB 3.0 technology. The Targus USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Dual Video Docking Station allows you to connect all of your peripherals while offering the benefit of enhanced speed and power associated with USB 3.0.

The USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Dual Video Docking Station features four USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports, ine DVI-I and HDMI port, a Gigabit Ethernet port, audio In/Out ports and security lock slot. In accessory it includes a DVI to VGA adapter, a HDMI to DVI adapter, a 2ft USB 3.0 cable and a 6.5A AC adapter.

Acer has announced four new TravelMate Timeline business laptops in the North America. They are Acer TravelMate Timeline 6495 (14-inch), 6595 (14-inch), 8473 (15.6-inch), and 8573 (15.6-inch).

The Acer TravelMate Timeline 6495, 6595, 8473 and 8573 are based on the second-generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 750GB hard drive or 128GB SSD, and Nvidia discrete graphics card with Optimus technology.

New TravelMate Timeline laptops are equipped with an LED-backlit (1366 x 768) display, a DVD writer, built-in webcam, a 5-in-1 card reader, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, one USB 3.0 port, HDMI and VGA video outputs, a fingerprint reader, a TPM module, Intel’s Wireless Display technology, and and a PowerSmart battery.

The TravelMate Timeline 8473 and 8573 laptops are comes with the ProDock docking station and can be configured to feature 3G connectivity.

At Computex 2011 in Taiwan, Gigabyte has also show off the Gigabyte M2432 laptop, which  provide a docking station. Its docking station has a GeForce GT 440 graphics card with 1GB VRAM DDR, six extra USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, D-Sub and DVI connectors.

The Gigabyte M2432 laptop is boasts a 2.3GHz Core i5-2410M (up to 2.9GHz) processor, a 14-inch (1366 x 768) LCD display, Intel HD Graphics 3000, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 500GB 7200rpm hard drive.

Gigabyte T1125 convertible touchscreen laptop will be come with a docking station with a slot for a removable DVD burner.
