Buffalo has released the DVSM-PC58U2V external DVD writer, the drive is offers two USB connectors or AC adapter port. The drive with dual USB connectors that allows use both of them – for power and data transfer.

The Buffalo DVSM-PC58U2V is capable of write speeds of up to 8x for DVD-R/+R and DVD+RW, 6x for DVD-R/+R DL and DVD-RW, 5x for DVD-RAM, and 24x for CD-R/RW. It is bundled with CyberLink’s Power2Go 7 and InstantBurn 5 software.

Dimensions of Buffalo DVSM-PC58U2V are 145 x 19 x 153 mm and and weights 340 grams.
