Asus Eee PC 1215N Netbook coming into Europe next month

Asus Eee 1215N multimedia netbook will become available in Europe in early September, priced at €499.

Asus Eee PC 1215N features the dual core Intel Atom D525 1.8GHz processor, Nvidia Optimus technology for on-the-fly switching between the ION and Intel graphics, 2GB of DDR3 memory, 250GB hard drive, and a 12.1-inch (1366 x 768) LED-backlit display.

The Asus Eee PC 1215N also includes a 0.3MP web camera, 802.11n Wi-Fi, USB 3.0, and Bluetooth 3.0, an MMC/SD card reader, two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port, LAN, HDMI and VGA outputs, a 6-cell (5200 mAh) battery providing up to 7 hours of operation.

The Asus Eee PC 1215N will run Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit, and with color options including red, black and silver.

The Asus Eee PC 1215N 12.1-inch multimedia netbook packs the Intel Atom D525 dual core (1.80GHz) processor, a 12.1″ LED-backlit glare-type display has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 250GB hard disk, as well as the next generation NVIDIA ION discrete graphics processor with NVIDIA Optimus technology to deliver a netbook with hard-hitting multimedia performance capabilities.

The Eee PC 1215N comes with two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, LAN, VGA and HDMI outputs, card reader and a 0.3MP web camera, a 6-cell battery for up to 6 hours of battery power. This netbook comes pre-installed with the Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

The Asus Eee PC 1215N will be powered by a 1.8GHz dual-core Intel Atom D525 processor, 12.1″ LED-backlit display with resolution of 1366×768 pixel, NVIDIA ION2 graphics with Nvidia Optimus technology, 1GB of RAM, a 250GB/320GB hard drive, chiclet keyboard and 6-cell battery.

Other specifications include integrated 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, webcam, two USB 3.0 ports, LAN, HDMI output, and card reader. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium.

No words yet on release date and pricing. Will be available in black, silver, red and bright red.
