Acer has announced a new updated version of Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook. This new Ultrabook is now available with a 240GB solid state drive (SSD) and a 1.7GHz ‘Sandy Bridge’ Intel Core i7-2637M processor.

The new Acer Aspire S3 is packs a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 4GB RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, 1.3 megapixel webcam, card reader, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, and a 3280 mAh battery. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

The Core i7 version of the Aspire S3 Ultrabook retails for $1299 (Core i5 versions begin at $899).

Acer has released the Aspire S3 ultrabook in Europe and expanded three models in November. The Aspire S3 notebook is powered by an Intel Core i5-2467M processor, Intel HD 3000 graphics, 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive and 20GB solid state drive, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a 2-in-1 card reader, two USB 2.0 ports, a HDMI output, and a 3,280 mAh battery. This Aspire S3 ultrabook for cost of €799.

In November, Acer Aspire S3 model has three new models. Three Acer Aspire AS5745 models are equipped with a 1.6GHz Core i5-2467M or 1.7GHz Core i7-2637M CPU, 4GB of RAM, 520GB storage (500GB HDD + 20GB SSD) or a 240GB SSD, and Intel HD 3000 graphics. Three ultrabooks are price at €999, €1,199, and €1,399, respectively.

The Acer Aspire S3 ultrabook will be available in Italy on October 20th with a starting price of €799 (about $1,066 ) including VAT.

Acer has announced the first Ultrabook at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, called the Aspire S3. The Acer Aspire S3 offering users powerful performance for digital creation, a magnesium-alloy casin, a super-lightweight, and high-density battery that delivers up to 7 hours.

The Acer Aspire S3 ultrabook features the latest 2nd generation Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 240GB SSD or 320/500GB HDD, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a 1.3 megapixel camera, HDMI output, and a 2-in-1 card reader. It’s measures 1.3 cm thin and weighs less than 1.4 kg (3 lbs.).

The Acer Aspire S3 ultrabook will be available in Europe and the US later this month, and price between €799 and €1199.
