Acer has updated version of Aspire One 522 and 722 netbooks with AMD’s C-60 accelerated processing unit. This AMD C-60 APU has two 1GHz x86 cores (1.33 GHz in Turbo Core) and  integrated Radeon HD 6290 graphics (276-400 MHz).
The Acer Aspire One 522 netbook pack a 10.1-inch LED-backli display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 1GB of RAM, while the Aspire One 722 has a 11.6-inch LED-backlit display with 1366×768 resolution and 2GB of memory.

The Acer Aspire One 522 and 722 netbooks are features a 320GB hard drive, a 5-in-1 card reader, a 0.3-megapixel webcam, 10/100 LAN, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a multi-touch trackpad, a HDMI output, and a 6-cell battery.

Cost of Acer Aspire One 522 and 722 netbooks are available at $279 and €349, respectively.

The Acer Aspire One 522 10.1-inch netbook comes in two models, the Aspire One AO522-BZ897 and Aspire One AO522-BZ824. These two models netbook is powered by a 1GHz dual core AMD C-50 processor with built-in Radeon HD 6250 graphics nad AMD’s lower power 9W Ontario chip.

They also come with also comes with a 1GB of DDR3 memory, a 250GB hard drive, a 1.3MP camera and 3 USB 2.0 ports, plus a 6 cell, 4400mAh battery which Acer says should provide up to 6 hours of run time, and Windows 7 Starter Edition OS.

The Acer Aspire One 522 will be available in Diamond Black or Olive Green, and price at $329.99.

Acer has introduced a new netbook with the AMD’s Fusion Brazos platform, namely Acer Aspire One 522. The new Acer Aspire One 522 powered by an AMD C-50 “Ontario” APU, with two cores, clocked at 1GHz each, and a total TDP of 9W. This includes Radeon 6250 graphics, with support DX11 as well as UVD3 for accelerated video decoding.

There are other features which includes a 10.1 inch panel with 1280×720 screen resolution, HDMI and VGA port, three USB ports, LAN, and a battery providing up to 6 hours of run time.
