Acer announced two new Aspire Ethos entertainment laptops in the US and Canada, includes the Aspire Ethos AS5951G and AS8951G. Both laptops are designed to activities, graphic-intensive gaming, video streaming, high-definition DVDs, photography or videos, and have a brushed aluminum magnesium alloy enclosure.

The Acer Aspire Ethos 5951G laptop packs a 15.6-inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, up to 750GB hard drive, and two built in stereo speakers and the Acer Tuba CineBass booster.

The Acer Aspire Ethos 8951G includes an 18.4-inch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, up to 1.5TB of storage with support for dual hard drives, and Acer CineSurround with five Dolby-tuned built-in speakers and Acer Tuba CineBass subwoofer.

The Acer Aspire Ethos 5951G and 8951G laptops are powered by a 2nd Generation Intel Core i7 Quad-Core or a 2nd Generation Intel Core i5 Dual-Core processor, up to 16GB of memory, and NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M graphics with 2GB of dedicated DDR3 VRAM.

The new Ethos laptopks also feature a DVD or Blu-ray drive, a Crystal Eye HD webcam, card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, and a combo USB/eSATA port.

Pricing for the Acer Aspire Ethos AS5951G in the US starts at $1,399.99, that the Aspire Ethos AS5951G in Canada start at $1,199 CAD. Cost of the Acer Aspire Ethos AS8951G in the US starts at $$1,599.99, while the Aspire Ethos AS5951G in Canada start at $1,499 CAD.

Acer has introduced the Aspire Ethos 5951G and the Aspire Ethos 8951G entertainment and performance laptops that based on Intel’s Huron River platform. These Acer Aspire Ethos laptops come with brushed aluminium-magnesium alloy cover, a backlit chiclet keyboard, and a detachable touchpad that can be used as a media remote.

The Acer Aspire 5951G laptop pack a 15.6-inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, two built-in speakers and one HDD.

The Acer Aspire 8951G is equipped with an 18.4-inch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, five built-in speakers, and support for two 2.5″ storage devices (SSD or HDD).
