Rover Computers has unveiled the RoverBook Steel budget netbook in Russia. The RoverBook Steel netbook is boasts a 640MHz RockChip 2818 processor, a 10-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 256MB of RAM, and 4GB flash storage.

The RoverBook Steel netbook comes equipped with Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi, two USB 2.0 ports, a SD memory card slot, speakers, microphone, and built-in rechargeable battery. Its running on Android 2.1 operating system.

RoverBook Steel netbook is sold in Russia for costs around 7,500 rubles.

The new AMLogic A9 Android netbook is going enter to the Chinese market, which is price for only $76.  The AMLogic A9 netbook is powered by an AMLogic Cortex A9 processor, a 10-inch display, 512MB of memory, and 4GB flash storage.

Other hardware includes 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN and 1200 mAh battery for up to 3 hours of work time per charge.

NEC has unveiled a new mini notebook in Japan, namely the LifeTouch Note. It is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core chip, 2/8GB of storage, a microSD card slot (2GB or 8GB will be bundled), and runs Android 2.2.

It also has a screen of 7-inch (800 x 480) resistive touchscreen, a QWERTY keyboard, a 2MP camera, GPS, an accelerometer, a digital compass, a mini USB port, 02.11 b/g/n WiF, Bluetooth 2.1, and a battery for up to 9 hours of operation.

There will be available for the Japanese market in three versions:

- 2GB of built-in storage and a 2GB memory card (Piano Black) for $480.
- 8GB of built-in storage and an 8GB memory card (Piano Black, Chocolate Brown or Red) for $539.
- 8GB of built-in storage, an 8GB memory card and 3G support for about $659.

Ace has launched the Aspire E100 educational netbook, which is designed for students or teachers. The netbook comes with the Education software pre-installed, including Acer Classroom Manager, Fourier MultiLab Lite, Fourier software.

The Acer Aspire E100 features a 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, an Intel Atom processor, 1GB of DDR memory, a 250GB a hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, Ethernet LAN, web camera, memory card reader and a 6 cell battery.

This netbook is running on dual boot Windows 7 and Google Android. Dimensions of Acer Aspire E100 are 24mm thick and just about 1kg weights.

Next Surfer Pro is the cheapest netbook with Google Android 2.1 OS, which offering at price of $248. The Surfer Pro netbook is powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, a 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, only 256MB of RAM, and 16GB of flash storage.

The PC101V is a cheap Chinese netbook form ShenZhen FirstView Electronic company, featuring an ARM-based processor (either a 533MHz or 800MHz chip) and running Google Android or WinCE 6.0 R3.

The PC101V super-slim netbook comes with 128MB to 256MB of RAM, 2GB or 4GB of flash-based storage, a 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 802.11b/g WiFi, support for 3G dongle, two USB 2.0 ports, a 1.3MP camera, an SD card slot, and a battery life of around 3-5 hours.

Kmart has started offering the new Augen GenBook 108 netbook with Google Android 2.1 operating system.

The Augen GenBook 108 features an 800MHz ARM11-based CPU, a 10.2-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels,  256MB of DDR2 RAM, 2GB of storage (plus an SD card slot), 802.11b/g WiFi, and a 2100mAh battery.

Toshiba AC100-10U ultra-thin netbook offering Google Android is now available in the UK.

Toshiba UK has released the AC100 smartbook running Google Android operating system.

The Acer Aspire One AOD255 runs both Windows XP and Google Android as its operating system. You can use Acer Configuration Manager to choose which operating system will launch at startup.

The Acer Aspire One AOD255 netbook sports a 10.1-inch screen display, an Intel Atom D450 processor, 1 GB of RAM, a 160 GB hard drive, Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, as well as a 3-cell lithium-ion battery, though a 6-cell battery will be available as an option.

Acer Aspire One AOD255 has started selling in Taiwan for NT$11,900 (around US$375).

Augen has recently introduced new 10 inch netbook, called the GenBOOK108. This netbook is running on Android 2.1. It has a 10.2 inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel, an 800MHz CPU, 256MB of memory, 2GB of flash storage, supports WiFi, SD/MMC card slot, and Lithium battery.

Toshiba has introduced its first ARM-based smartbook will be called the Toshiba AC100/dynabook AZ. The Toshiba AC100/dynabook AZ has features a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) LED-backlit display, a 1GHz Tegra 250 SoC processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB to 32GB flash storage, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, 10/100 Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and mobile broadband connectivity.

It’s running Google Android 2.1 and also makes use of a 3-cell battery enabling up to 8 hours of operation. No word on pricing yet though.

The CherryPal Asia introduced a $99 android netbook. This netbook will feature a 7-inch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, a VIA ARM9 533MHz processor, a 256MB RAM, a three USB 2.0 ports, a 2GB of flash storage, Google Android 1.6 OS.

CherryPal will also offer a larger version with a 10.1-inch display and 1.3 MP camera for $148.

The Acer Aspire One D260 will also dual-boot Google Android with Microsoft Windows operating systems. the Aspire One D260 and is said to be the successor to the D250 which was released last year, therefore it will probably boast better technical specifications then the D250’s Intel Atom N270 CPU, 160GB hard drive and 1GB of RAM.
