Origin PC has updated its EON15-S, EON17-S and EON17 laptops laptops with AMD Radeon HD 6990M mobile graphics card. The Origin EON15-S is 15.6-inch gaming laptop, while the Origin EON17-S and EON17 is 17.3-inch.

The EON15-S and EON17-S laptops are support for the Radeon HD 6990M single graphics card, and powered by up to a Core i7-2920XM quad-core mobile processor, while the EON17 laptop has support for the Radeon HD 6990M dual graphics card, and up to a Core i7-990X or Xeon X5690 hexa-core CPU.

The AMD Radeon HD 6990M graphics card features 1120 Stream Processors, 56 Texture Units, 32 ROP units, the GPU clock speed of 680MHz to 715MHz, a 256-bit memory interface, and 2GB of GDDR5 VRAM set to 3600 MHz.

Cost of AMD Radeon HD 6990M single graphics card is $209, while two Radeon HD 6990M graphics card for $658.

Dell has adds new the AMD Radeon HD 6990M graphics card to its gaming laptop, the 18.4-inch Alienware M18x. The AMD Radeon HD 6990M GPU was measured to be up to 25% faster than any other announced laptop enthusiast GPU.
