Acer Aspire AS8943G Series Gets ATI Radeon 5850 Graphics with 2GB of Memory

Acer has announced two new models in its Aspire AS8943G laptop series will be available with the ATI Mobility Radeon 5850 2GB dedicated video card.

Acer Aspire AS8943G Series laptops are powered by an Intel Core i7 Quad Core Processor (i7-740QM), a brilliant CineCrystal 18.4-inch edge-to-edge glass LED back-lit display with full high-definition (1080p) resolution, 4GB or 8GB of memory (upgradeable to 16GB), a 500GB SATA hard drive.

The new laptops also include Dolby optimized Acer CineSurround sound system, HDMI, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, Blu-ray and, FireWire port, and an eSATA port.

With prices starting at $1,499.99, the Acer Aspire AS8943G-9319 and the Acer Aspire AS8943G-9429 are available now at leading retailers.

Acer Canada has announced two new models in its top-of-the line multimedia laptop series, the new notebooks include the AS8943G-3215 and AS8943G-5638, both with Intel Core processors and AMD DirectX 11 graphics.

The Acer Aspire AS8943G is powered by Intel Core i5-430M Dual Core Processor with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, and 640GB of storage.

The lower end Acer Aspire AS8943G-5638 with an Intel Core i3-350M Dual Core Processor, and 500GB of storage.

The two new laptops feature the 4GB of memory, 18.4-inch edge-to-edge glass LED back-lit display with full high-definition (1080p) resolution, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5650 Graphics with 1GB of dedicated video memory, Dolby Home Theatre Audio , 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, a 1.3 megapixel HD webcam, eSATA, five USB 2.0 ports, FireWire, 8-cell Li-ion battery, and is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.
