Acer has launch the Aspire 5742 laptop series will hit the European market in this week. The Acer Aspire 5742 is powered by an Intel Core i3 or i5 processor, a 15.6-inch CrystalBrite display with a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, Intel integrated graphics core or GeForce 420M discrete GPU, up to 4GB of RAM, and up to 500GB hard drive.

Other features include a FineTip keyboard, a multi-gesture touchpad, a DVD writer, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, 1.3MP Crystal Eye webcam, a card reader, three USB ports, a HDMI output, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Acer Aspire 5742 is comes in black, brown and red color options. It hould be start price of €599.

Acer has announced the 14-inch Aspire 4738 and 15.6-inch Aspire 5742 laptops in European market.

The Aspire 4738 and Aspire 5742 laptops are powered by the new Intel Core i5 and i3 processors, an Intel HD or an nVidia GeForce GT 420M or an ATI Radeon HD 5470 graphics, up to 8GB DDR3 memory, a 750GB hard drive

Both laptops have a CineCrystal panels with 16:9 aspect ratio and HD resolutions, a DVD burner, an HDMI port, a multi-gesture touchpad, a 2-in-1 card reader, a 802.11n WiFi, Gigabit LAN, Bluetooth, a 1.3MP resolution and a built-in microphone.
