HP have announced a new Compaq Airlife 100 Smartbook with Google Android powered. The new HP Compaq smartbook comes with a Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, a 16GB SSD, SD card slot, VGA webcam, WiFi, an integrated 3G, a long lasting battery that has up to 12 hours running up to 10 days in standby mode. The HP Compaq Airlife 100 will be released in Europe this Spring.

ThinkPad Edge small business laptop will feature an has powered by Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor (1.30GHz), 13.3″ HD LED widescreen panel, 6-cell up to 8 hrs. battery life, 3G and WiMAX, Genuine Windows 7 Professional.

The LG X300 11.6″ netbook is an ultra-thin machine, measuring only 17.6mm thick and weighing just 970 grams, the machine offers an 11.6-inch LCD display, a 2.0GHz Intel Atom processor, a 2GB RAM, a solid state drive (SSD), a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a 7-hour battery and runs on Windows 7 OS.

Other features include 3G, Wireless, Bluetooth, SRS TruSurround HD sound, and a borderless touchpad.

The LG X300 will start shipping next month but no word about its price.

The Lenovo Skylight is Lenovo’s first-ever smartbook, it’s powered by 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, ARM-based Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, 10.1-inch display (1,280 x 720), a Linux OS, 20GB (total) of flash storage, 2GB of cloud storage, an 8GB miniSD card, twin USB ports, 1.3 megapixel camera, 10-hour battery life, built-in 3G and WiFi.

It will launch in the US in April, where one will be able to purchase the Skylight on a standalone basis through Lenovo.com for $499 or on a two-year AT&T 3G data contract. The Skylight will then be available in Europe and China later in 2010.
