LG has announced a World Cup Edition of the LG X140 netbook. The LG X140 World Cup Edition netbook has feature a 10-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 or 1366 x 768 pixels, choice between an Intel Atom N450 or N470 processor, 1GB/2GB RAM, a 250GB/320GB hard drive, a 6-cell or 9-cell battery (up to 12 hours of battery life), 1.3MP webcam, SRS TruSurround HD sound, 3G connectivity, it will weigh anywhere from 1.3kg to 1.45kg, and runs Windows 7 Starter OS. Available in white, pink and black colors, each sports a different design on the lid.

LG Electronics has announced the launch of the LG X140 netbook. LG X140 comes with a choice of either a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 and a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470, 250GB/320GB hard drive, 1GB/2GB of RAM. It packs a 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1366×768 pixel, a 1.3-megapixel camera, SRS TruSurround HD, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G modem.

The LG X140 will be available in global markets including Mexico, Chile, Saudi Arabia, Levant, Tunisia, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong as of May, and comes in three colors: white, pink and black, as well as hot pink in Brazil, weight 1.3 or 1.45kg. Lenovo is going to release the ThinkPad X100e Netbook, a 11.6-inch AMD-based ultraportable business laptop, according to leaked specifications.
