I-O Data BRP-U6 External Blu-Ray burner

I-O Data has announced the BRP-U6 ultra-slim Blu-ray burner. It can write BD-R SL (single-layer) media at 6x, BD-R DL at 4x, BD-RE at 2x, DVD-R/+R/+RW at 8x, DVD-RW at 6x DVD-R/+R DL at 4x, CD-R at 24x and CD-RW at 10x.

The BRP-U6 has a USB 2.0 interface, and bundled with Nero 9 Express Essentials. Dimensions of BRP-U6 are137 (W) x 154 (D) x 20 (H) mm and weights 330 grams.

The BRP-U6 will be available in Japan this December and priced at $265.
