Gateway EC14, EC54 and EC58 Laptops will feature much of the same hardware, which includes a 1.3GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core SU4100 CPU along with Intel’s GMA4500MHD graphics, 4GB DDR2 RAM, a 320GB HDD, 802.11b/g/Draft-N, 3USB ports, HDMI, and a multitouch trackpad to go along with an integrated webcam and multicard reader. Battery life is expected to be in the range of 6-8 hours. The resolution of all three is 1366 x 768, and of course, all will ship with Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit version).
The Gateway EC14 are brings an 11.6-inch screen, will weigh around 3lbs (1.7 kg.), Gateway EC54 and EC58 are brings an 15.6-inch screen, will weigh around 5lbs (2.3 kg.). The former hits the moneyclip for $549.99 to start, while the later models will cost $649.99 for the larger chassis.
